Moira and Brian make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The tasting was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed each of the wines we tried. What a jewel in the country! A great place to spend a Saturday evening!

Amazing! Moira and Brian are incredible people. They’re both friendly and accommodating. It’s hard not to feel relaxed and at home there. My husband is not a wine lover but always finds something he enjoys. 10/10 will be back again!

Moira and Brian were excellent hosts! They shared their story with us, were super accommodating and their wine was very tasty. We went home with several bottles! The parking is easy in and out, level and close to our trip route. Would definitely stay again!

Such a fun place! We met two other couples at the winery and enjoyed wine and pizza on the patio. Everyone got a different pizza, and they were all great. Super friendly staff, too! I highly recommend the Pioneer Spirit red wine.

I love finding family owned winery’s and vineyards when I travel. Skies Over Texas is a must stop for me when I’m in town every year! The wine is amazing, I’ve yet to taste one that I don’t grab to bring home with me. The owners are very kind and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is laid back and welcoming with that traditional Texas hospitality! I can’t wait to return this fall.

First time visit but will not be my last ! Friendly family atmosphere along with great wine and food makes this a place you will love!

This winery is amazing. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The lot is large and very easy to move around in. The food was delicious.. the best pizza we have ever had. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Moira and her husband are big supporters of the community. They continue to add unique and interesting events for all to attend. Their venue is outside of town where you can see the sun set in the evening. Their wine is delicious – definitely a great place for meeting up with friends.

We are from Minnesota and stopped here while we were visiting family. The owners were more than gracious with their hospitality and selection. Quaint and rustic. We will be back for sure. We felt like family. As a bonus very excited to be the 100th 5-star review!

Harvest Hosts can be so much more than about just having a place to park for the night, and that is exactly what Skies Over Texas was for us. So enjoyed getting to know Moira and Brian and enjoyed some fantastic wines as well. Chatting with locals, good food and good wine. What could be better?

What a lovely place! I wish we could have stayed longer to see the sunset. The food was amazing – we enjoyed the nachos, dirty dill w/ bacon and chalupa pizzas. Moira was great and we loved petting Chewy.

I love this winery. The owners are fabulous, the wine very yummy, the food is tummy happy, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. I highly recommend this as a place to just relax and enjoy some vino – you’ll likely get some great conversation as well.

This is my absolute favorite winery ever! Not only is the wine amazing but Brian and Moira are too! When they say “Leave as friends” that’s the truth! They make it a point to get to know their customers and they are just wonderful.

What a treat! My Dad was showing me around Brownwood and Early and said we should stop in and try them. We got there just as they opened and Moira made us feel quite welcome. My Dad enjoyed a glass of wine and I had a tasting. Each of the six wines was nice, and Moira turned me on to a varietal I had never heard of, Aglianico, it was nice and dry and quite delicious. Can’t wait to come back and spend more time.

My wife and I visited the winery Saturday evening for supper and some wine. The service was quick and pleasant, and we felt very welcome. We tasted several wines and had a bottle with our supper. We had panini sandwiches and they were excellent. Moira and her staff visited with us and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere inside and out is very relaxing, and we had our supper out under the large, covered area which has soft lighting and music. We enjoyed the visit very much and we will be going back for more.

Relaxed and inviting vibe with the best wine and paninis I’ve ever had! The owners are passionate and definitely know how to make incredible wine! My husband and I enjoyed our evening here and will be back soon. LOVE

Great Texas Winery that produces wonderful wines from Texas grapes. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about their wines and Texas winemaking in general. A guided tasting is a great way to learn more about the wonderful wines being produced in Texas! Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place! Brian and Moira are very friendly and welcoming! A great place to hangout with friends and family and is also great for a couples date! Aside from the great wine choices they have delicious pizza and fun games you can play outside while enjoying the nice views. I definitely recommend this place!

This was our first stop in Texas and the name really captures this winery and the fine people who own it. Moira and Brian were so welcoming that it cheered our weary family to the core.

This is our favorite Harvest Host! The owners welcomed us with such a sweet spirit and wanted to make sure we were okay. They even invited us to the community group who come by on Sunday evenings. We loved being there and hope we get to come by this way again. Try the pickle pizza, It was great!

This was our first Harvest Host stay. It was a joyful and comfortable stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We met some very friendly local people, and truly enjoyed the wine and food. The parking was roomy, clean and level. Great spot for our dogs too. We will be back!

Stopped in on our way home from vacation and what a find!  Had an awesome tasting, find several wines perfect for me and even joined the wine club. Can’t wait to go back!
