Celebrating Success at the 2024 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition

From Nov. 10-12, 2023, wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs gathered at the NRG Center for the 21st annual 2024 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. This year’s event showcased an astounding 2,985 entries hailing from 22 countries. The United States, Italy, and Chile emerged as the frontrunners in terms of entries, showcasing the global reach and diversity of the competition.

Among the submissions, 539 came from Texas wineries, while the spotlighted region, Chile, contributed 161 entries. The high level of participation reaffirms that the 2024 Rodeo Uncorked competition’s reputation as a magnet for the finest wine producers worldwide.

The judging process, executed by a panel of experts, winemakers, and connoisseurs, rigorously assessed wines spanning various categories including reds, whites, sparkling, and more. Each wine underwent meticulous evaluation, considering factors like aroma, taste, appearance, and overall balance.

We are celebrating success at the 2024 Rodeo Uncorked, three of our wines emerged as award winners at this prestigious competition:

• 2022 Malvasia Bianca: This exquisite wine not only secured a gold medal but was also honored as both a Reserve Class Champion and Texas Class Champion.
• 2021 Mourvedre: Another gold medalist from our collection, showcasing its exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
• 2021 Aged To Reflection: Recognized with a silver medal, underscoring its distinction among the impressive lineup of entries.

These accolades serve as a testament to our commitment to crafting exceptional wines that stand out in a competitive landscape.
